1- Registration in the Trade Registry
Pursuant to Article 42 of the Turkish Commercial Code;
Every trader is obliged to register and announce his commercial enterprise and the trade name he has chosen in the trade registry of the place where the business center is located, within fifteen days from the day the commercial enterprise is opened.
Branches of commercial enterprises headquartered in Turkey are also registered and announced in the trade registry of their location. Pursuant to Article 13 of the Trade Registry Regulation;
Every real and legal person is obliged to choose and use a trade name, and to register his business and title in the trade registry.
2- Registration in the Room
In accordance with Article 9 of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Law on Chambers and Commodity Exchanges numbered 5174;
Traders registered in the trade registry and all real and legal persons holding the title of industrialist and maritime trader, as well as their branches and factories, must register with the chamber where they are located.
Real and legal persons and their branches whose registration is mandatory in chambers cannot be compelled to become members of other professional organizations, unions and organizations in the nature of public institutions and to pay dues.
Those who do not fulfill the registration obligation regulated in this article within one month are registered ex officio by the chambers and the situation is notified to them.
